Theory and Hazard Perception
If you want a licence for a new category of vehicle, for example you have a car licence and you want a motorcycle licence, you will need to take a theory and hazard perception test. This is the only part of your training that you arrange directly and can be done via the Driver Standards Agency.
Practical Training and Test
At your CBT the instructor will advise the number of training days you should undertake in order to be prepared and trained ready to pass the practical tests first time. Your training days can be arranged at your convenience and do not have to be on consecutive days. Your tests will be on the final days of your course and will include training time prior to test. Tests are normally held at the DSA test centre in Basildon but can be at different test centres. It doesn’t matter where your test is, we train you to ride your bike for life not just on extremely tedious test routes!
