MOTORCYCLE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING UK

To be a driving standards agency instructor you must be over 21 years old, have held a full motorcycle
licence for 3 years and be "a fit and proper person"....that's DSA jargon for a relatively clean driving
licence and police record.

You must then pass the 2 day CBT assessment for instructor at Cardington in Bedfordshire to be able to
take the half day DAS instructor assesment,which allows you to take out students on a larger bike.

THE INSTRUCTORS

They consist in the main of 2 people who we will leave to introduce themselves.

"I have recently medically retired from the Metropolitan Police to run my own motorcycle training school. I
left as a Sergeant after 18 years, where I was highly trained.

My daily role consisted of training and assessing. I am very well equipped to teach these courses to you. I
have been around the same style of exam for the last 12 years, only at a higher level than you need to
pass Cardington.

You will benefit highly from my extra knowledge and inside information that I have for this method of
teaching and the "role playing assessments" you will have to partake in

I am well establish in this field and have trained succesfully, people from Aberdeen to Devon. I conduct
courses month in month out and my dedication reflects in my good name and success rate.

You will receive, after payment of your deposit

a comprehensive training manual. Here you will find the complete briefings that will need to be
given on your test, plus guides to the practical parts of the test.

Our CBT course is only 6 days long and this has many advantages over others that have been
stretched to 10 days or unbelievably 14 or more!

We are able to complete this course because it is very structured. You are being taught to
conduct a CBT, various teaching methods and what is expected and required at Cardington.

To conduct a CBT for real takes about 5 to 7 hours with real students, of which there must be 2
hours on the road. As you can work out it does not take more than 6 days to teach you
something that will only take 4 hours to complete!

We do this by having a small number of student on any course.

We do not waste time, you get a full days teaching for your money.

We only use our best and most qualified instructors and no "fill-in" instructors.

We run courses all year and not just to supplement lean winter months.
